Model overview
First shown in 1961, the E-Type became one of the most admired shapes ever to leave a British factory. The Series 2, built from 1968 to 1971, brought a larger air intake, improved cooling and brakes and revised lighting, paired with the torquey 4.2-litre XK straight-six. Eagle, the renowned Sussex specialist, is famous for its meticulously engineered E-Type engines and restorations—a fast-road unit of theirs transforms an already-special car into a genuinely usable modern-classic.
